The news of the passing on to glory of our dearest brother David Kanesan hit me hard. Memories have flooded my mind. In my young days at Christ Church, Kanesan would go all out to reach me and led me into the spiritual path of the LORD. Countless moments we have spend together visiting families, going to revival meetings, praying together, going for a meal to uplift each other. He was a Spiritual Annae to me. Today being Father's Day, I thank God that David was a Spiritual Dad to me. His actions spoke louder than words. His presence in times of challenges and celebrations showed how important a role he played in my life, and to my wife and children. He truly prayed and supported in all ways possible. Losing an ally in life and ministry is very painful. Thank you Kanesan for passing on that passion for Christ and desire to disciple individuals. I receive that blessing. Jasmine and I offer our deepest condolences to Florence. Words will not be enough to comfort. To Sandarabose and all other siblings and loved ones in the family, our heartfelt sympathies and love and prayers. Kanesan has gone ahead of us. Let him have his rest. It is his time now. Let us run the race marked out by Jesus. We will meet again! Israel Selvam
